Torkel Dawkins is a Professional Makeup Artist that has been in the Beauty Industry for 15+ years. Her passion for makeup artistry drives her to create versatile looks that enhances her client’s natural beauty and also promote self-confidence.

Torkel began her career as a freelance artist; building her clientele through applying makeup for countless Photoshoots, Weddings & Events, Pageants, Theatre and Film. Her talent was quickly recognized and she was afforded the opportunity to work with several international celebrities and local entities including The Miss Bahamas Organization and the Ministry of Tourism; where her artistry was featured on the cover of The Bahamas’ 2015 Telephone Directory.

Aspiring to elevate her artistry, Torkel also attended and is a 2017 graduate of The Ahmni Makeup Academy in Jonesboro, GA. She has also been a Makeup Instructor at the Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute where she has shared her passion and knowledge with over 100 students since 2016. Although she is trained in multiple sectors of makeup artistry, inclusive of Special Effects, Junkanoo, Carnival and Fantasy makeup, her true love and specialties are Clean Beauty, Editorial, Bridal and Glam makeup looks.
